Hello and welcome!
I’m Gabrielle, a writer and artist preparing to publish my first novel. I write character-driven romance, fantasy, and speculative fiction with themes like found family, friendship, and self-discovery. My short fiction has been published or is forthcoming in 3Elements Literary Review, Grim & Gilded, and Potato Soup Journal. My short story “The Trouble with Memory” has been nominated for a Puschart Prize.
Because I want to publish novels in the traditional way, I’m currently searching for an agent. The writing and publishing process can be a strange and lonely one, so I share my experiences in the Blog section. Like a true nerd, I like writing instructional text, so I’ve distilled some of what I learned along the way into articles that can be found in the Writing Resources section.
